can you suggest a good way to do the project? poster, powerpoint, report, etc.... what kind of information should be included in the project??Altmantl 03:57, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

OMG, I am so tired of Zodiac stuff. Whatever you do, it had better be good. It realllllly is up to you. Be creative enough so that YOU are interested, and present info in enough detail so that we won't have the urge to ask too many obvious questions. Suggestion: the days of the week are also tied into the Zodiac. Explore that thoroughly or don't mention it at all. I'm sure you'll do fine. I DO trust my students. Do good!!! OK, I sat through a 61 MegaByte file that is 11 minutes and 43 seconds long... But it doesn't really start until 8:30. That means that only 3 minutes of it is useful information. Please tell me I missed something, and there's more hidden in those first 8 and a half minutes than I realize. I MUST be missing something, here.

Your project: 1) is pretty, 2) is smooth, 3) is early, 4) has relaxing mood music, 4) implies that all partners know the project...

Suggestions: 1) Instead of MovieMaker, use Powerpoint and the file will be 4-5 MegaBytes (IF you include the music). That way, you can click when you are ready to go to the next slide. It gives you the chance to talk, explain yourself, and answer questions as you go. 2) Better yet, use OpenOffice instead, SKIP the music, and the file could be less than 1 MegaByte. Then, we can post it on the Wikia and ACTUALLY USE IT in the future. 2) Put all of the cute information about individual Zodiac signs AFTER the useful information. 3) Better yet... replace the first 8:30 with interesting information, like ... mythological background behind the individual Zodiac constellations, actual pictures or diagrams of the constellations with guidance on how to find them, information on when they are visible, technical information about 6 of the best known stars that are also part of Zodiac constellations...
